Associate / Manager - Technical Advisory

Overview
A key role supporting early-stage infrastructure and energy advisory, focused on options development, coordination and structured reporting across complex, multidisciplinary programs. This position operates at the centre of advisory delivery, working across engineering, environmental, planning and commercial interfaces to help shape project direction before it progresses into delivery.

You will be responsible for bringing together multiple technical inputs, identifying constraints and ensuring outputs are clear, structured and aligned to decision-making requirements.

The role is advisory in nature, not design or construction, and requires the ability to operate across complex, regulated environments with competing priorities and evolving project parameters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of feasibility studies, options analysis and early-stage project assessments
  • Contribute to evaluation of technical, commercial and delivery pathways across infrastructure and energy programs
  • Coordinate inputs across engineering, environmental, planning, regulatory and commercial disciplines
  • Manage interfaces between workstreams to ensure alignment and consistency of outputs
  • Assist in preparing high-quality reports, briefing notes, options papers and governance materials
  • Translate technical inputs into clear, structured and decision-ready documentation
  • Identify key risks, constraints and project dependencies across early-stage development
  • Support analysis of spatial, regulatory, environmental and delivery considerations
  • Contribute to stakeholder coordination, workshops and project meetings
  • Support the delivery of advisory outputs across multiple concurrent workstreams
About You
  • 8+ years’ experience in infrastructure, energy or advisory environments
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • Experience supporting early-stage project development, feasibility or planning phases
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management capability
  • Ability to synthesise complex technical inputs into clear, structured outputs
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, environmental and commercial functions
  • Strong written communication skills, with experience contributing to reports and briefing materials
  • Exposure to regulated infrastructure environments, particularly within energy, transmission or major programs, is advantageous
