Environment Coordinator

We are partnering with a growing and well-regarded project services provider to appoint an Environmental Coordinator to support the delivery of infrastructure and construction projects.

This role will work closely with project and site teams to ensure environmental compliance, drive best practice, and support successful project outcomes in line with regulatory and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of environmental management plans across active projects
• Monitor compliance with environmental approvals, licences, and legislation
• Conduct site inspections and audits, identifying risks and improvement opportunities
• Assist in managing environmental incidents, reporting, and corrective actions
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement programs

About You

• Experience in an environmental role within construction, infrastructure, or related sectors
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and compliance requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively across site and project teams
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or similar
• Flexibility to travel to site as required by the end client
