Executive Quantity Surveyor

We’re working with a highly regarded commercial advisory firm operating across a range of major infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth and a strong forward pipeline, they are looking to appoint a senior cost professional into their team. This is an opportunity to step into a visible, client-facing role working across complex, high-value projects with genuine influence over commercial outcomes.

The Role

You will operate as a senior member of the cost team, taking ownership across the full project lifecycle, including:

• Cost planning and estimating across early-stage through to delivery
• Benchmarking, forecasting, and cashflow reporting
• Cost risk analysis and change management
• Tender preparation and evaluation
• Value engineering and cost optimisation strategies
• Preparation and review of BoQs and detailed take-offs

You will also play a key role in stakeholder engagement, managing client relationships and supporting broader project outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years’ experience in quantity surveying / cost management
• Background across major infrastructure, construction, mining or energy projects
• Strong capability in cost planning, estimating, and commercial analysis
• Experience using tools such as CostX or similar estimating platforms
• Ability to operate autonomously while leading and mentoring others
• Strong communication skills with a client-facing mindset

Exposure to digital engineering/BIM environments and probabilistic cost modelling is advantageous.
